Vibe: a person’s emotional state or the atmosphere of a place as communicated to and felt by others.

Last year, in the early summer days, a few friends from Fayetteville came together to form a cultural hub where musicians and visual artists could join forces to bring their talents in front of new audiences. We all share a deep connection with this area – with that in mind we decided we had something to contribute to the artistic and cultural development of this region. Having unending love for music and sharing beautiful experiences with others, there was only one name we could conceive: Vibes.

We launched our first event, Wabi Sabi Spring, on June 16th, 2016 at George’s Majestic Lounge in Fayetteville, AR. It was apparent then that we were onto something special.  Since then, we’ve hosted acts such as Big Wild, The Widdler, Somatoast, and Fractal Sky.

Our latest focus is hosting an event we call ‘Last Sunday’, a monthly get together for the community to share in visual art and dance. These events take place at George’s Majestic Lounge on the last Sunday of every month.  May and June’s installments were vastly inspiring, with wide ranges of style in music as well as in visual art.

As we reminisce on the harmony brought by last month, we are excitedly gearing up for July’s Last Sunday.
This month we are stoked to bring Flintwick of Little Rock for his debut at George’s. Fans of Tipper and all original bass music will not want to miss this one!
